Art often takes strange routes, don't you think? ^^

Yesterday I had a truly beautiful experience and that's the reason why I'm sitting here and typing these lines which, by the way, can be sometimes quite difficult for me, because English is not my native language.

"What does she really want to say?"
Thank you for asking this question.

To make a long story short: I've submitted an artwork yesterday and the result of it is a short story written by a young man who felt inspired to "translate" my drawing into words. I was completely aghast because I had never expected this "type" of resonance. I can't describe what it feels like, really, I can't.
In any event, I've promised to give him a feedback so I started to search for words and expressions but I don't think I can find good enough words to express how special his work is and how much I like it. So, if I can't say what's on my mind then I have to find another way of expressing my thanks and paying tribute to the artist. For example by sharing his short story with other members on my own page and invite you to read this impressive story.

In my opinion the magic of storytelling is painting pictures in the reader by using no more than subtle allusions. It creates a mind movie with amazing power and provides scope for imagination. At least this was my experience. ^^

As I have said previously - I'd like to keep a long story short (haha :D), so: Ladies and Gentleman, curtain up for "Till death do us part".

With thanks to the author Spydi-mel

I don't know where I am going - but I am on my way!

And when this means to inhale tons and tons of graphite powder 'cause of being a rank beginner and not very experienced in dealing with this material -  I want to take on this extra hassle just now. :D
